2.Long-term storage of carbon steel flanges should be checked on schedule. The exposed surface should be kept clean, dirt removed, and stored neatly in a place where the air is dry and dry. It is strictly prohibited to be stacked or stored in the open air. The stainless steel flange is often kept dry and ventilated, the retainer is clean and tidy, and stored in an accurate storage method.
3.Carbon steel flange application hand wheel, do not use levers or other tools to avoid damage to the valve. The handwheel rotates clockwise to close, and vice versa. Be fair to use and ensure accurate use and methods.
4.During installation, the carbon steel flange can be directly connected to the pipeline according to the connection method, and installed according to the position used. Under normal circumstances, it can be installed at any position of the pipeline, but it is easy to check the operation. Pay attention to the flow direction of the stainless steel flange. The flow direction should be upward from the longitudinal valve. The stainless steel flange can only be installed horizontally. Stainless steel flanges should be carefully sealed during installation to prevent leakage and affect the normal operation of the pipeline.
5. For ball valves of carbon steel flanges, globe valves, gate valves, only fully open or fully closed, do not allow to adjust the flow, so as to avoid erosion of the sealing surface and accelerate wear. The gate valve and the upper thread stop valve have a reverse sealing device, and the hand wheel is screwed to the uppermost position to prevent the medium from leaking from the packing.
